QuoteChase Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 4, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains what information QuoteChase collects, how it is used, how data export and deletion requests work, and how to contact support.
Information you provide
Signup asks for your name, email address, business name, and password. If you contact support, we collect the name, email address, issue, and message details you choose to send.
QuoteChase stores quote-follow-up information you enter, such as customer names, contact information, service types, quote values, statuses, follow-up dates, notes, lost reasons, follow-up history, assignment details, and won or lost outcomes.
Stripe handles payment information, billing records, and payment method storage. QuoteChase stores Stripe customer, subscription, price, plan, and billing status identifiers, but it does not store full card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to create accounts, operate the dashboard, provide support, send enabled reminder emails, manage billing status, improve the product, prevent abuse, and communicate product updates.
We do not sell your information. We only use it to operate and improve QuoteChase and support the account relationship.
Service providers
QuoteChase may use service providers for hosting, database operations, email delivery, payments, support, analytics, security, and operational tooling. Major providers may include Stripe for payments, Resend for email when configured, and the hosting/database providers used to run the website and dashboard.
Security
Passwords are stored as salted hashes, not plain text. Production sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies, and the production website is intended to be served over HTTPS so data is encrypted in transit.
No website or online service can guarantee perfect security. Keep separate records for important business information and avoid storing sensitive information that is not needed for quote follow-up.
Data export
Dashboard users can export quote and customer CSV files from Settings when export is available on their plan. See the data export instructions for details.
Data retention
We keep account, quote, billing status, support, and operational records for as long as needed to provide the service, support users, comply with obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and maintain basic business records.
If you request account deletion, some limited records may remain for a reasonable period in backups, logs, billing records, or records we are required to keep. Backups are for service recovery, not as a permanent customer archive.
Account deletion
To request account deletion, email [email protected] from the account email address. Export your data first if you need your own copy of quote or customer records.
Password reset
A self-serve password reset flow is not live yet. Contact support from the account email address and we will help verify the account and restore access.
Your choices
You can ask us to update or delete your contact information. You can also ask to stop receiving product updates.
If you are a dashboard user, deleting certain information may affect your ability to use the product because quote tracking depends on customer, quote, and follow-up details.
Information to avoid storing
Do not store payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, gate codes, alarm codes, medical information, legal documents, or other sensitive data that is not needed for quote follow-up.
Children's privacy
QuoteChase is built for business use and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Policy maturity
This policy should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before significant scale, new regulated data types, major provider changes, or new automated customer messaging features.
